The PMI Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP) certification, issued by PMI, is the leading credential for risk specialists who identify, assess and respond to project risks. It validates advanced competence in enterprise and project risk management beyond general project management.
This program prepares candidates for the PMI-RMP examination, developing the ability to build a risk management plan, identify and analyse risks qualitatively and quantitatively, plan and implement responses, and monitor and communicate risk throughout the project life cycle.

PMI-RMP Exam Registration & Certification
The PMI-RMP examination covers a defined set of risk management tasks and is delivered by PMI at Pearson VUE centres. The exam structure and question distribution follow PMI's domain-based job analysis; candidates should confirm the current Examination Content Outline and eligibility requirements on the PMI website.
Typical eligibility requires secondary education plus 4,500 hours of project risk management experience and 40 hours of risk management education (or a degree with 2,500 hours and 30 hours of education). Registration is through pmi.org.

- Confirm your risk experience against the PMI-RMP eligibility criteria on pmi.org.
- Apply for the credential, pay the fee (PMI member rates apply) and await approval.
- Schedule and sit the PMI-RMP examination at a Pearson VUE centre.
- Pass to earn the PMI-RMP credential and maintain it with PDUs.
