The Certified Financial Manager (CFM) certification, offered by the Global Association for Quality Management (GAQM), equips finance professionals with the practical knowledge needed for senior finance and management roles. It covers the full range of financial management responsibilities, from accounting and budgeting to business decision support and financial reporting adjustments.

The program is delivered as a structured e-course of 30-35 hours and prepares candidates to analyse financial data, manage budgets and money, prepare management accounts, and apply accounting concepts in everyday business decisions. There are no formal prerequisites, making it an accessible yet rigorous qualification.

CFM Exam Registration & Certification

The CFM certification exam (code CFM-001) is administered by GAQM and follows the 30-35 hour e-course syllabus. Candidates take the exam at our academy as we are an accredited GAQM test center; each exam voucher includes two attempts, and the certification is valid for life once earned.

Because there are no prerequisites, candidates can pursue the certification as soon as they are ready, and can retake the exam using the second attempt bundled with the voucher should they need to.

1. Enrol for the CFM-001 program with our academy and begin the 30-35 hour e-course.
2. Complete the five syllabus sections: Accounting; Budgets & Managing Money; Adjustments for Financial Reporting; Accounting in Business Decisions; and Financial Topics.
3. Register for the exam with our academy and book your preferred exam date and time.
4. Pass the exam to earn a certification valid for life and display the CFM credential.
