The Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification, issued by ISACA, is the globally recognised benchmark for professionals who audit, control, monitor and assess an organisation's information technology and business systems. It validates a candidate's ability to assess vulnerabilities, ensure compliance, and manage IT governance and risk.

This program aligns with the official CISA job practice and prepares candidates to apply ISACA's domains to real auditing engagements, covering the entire information systems auditing and control lifecycle.

CISA Exam Registration & Certification

The CISA examination consists of 150 multiple-choice questions covering the five CISA job practice domains, and is delivered by ISACA through authorised testing. Candidates must achieve a scaled passing score determined by ISACA.

In addition to passing the exam, candidates need at least five years of professional experience in information systems auditing, control, assurance or security (with education waivers available) to be certified.

1. Register for the CISA exam through your ISACA account and choose your testing window.
2. Schedule your exam at an approved test centre or proctored location.
3. Pass the 150-question CISA examination covering the five domains.
4. Submit proof of five years of qualifying work experience (with applicable education waivers).
5. Receive certification and maintain it through ISACA’s continuing professional education (CPE) program.
